The Lac La Biche Trappers Association, Local
1120, has been an integral part of the Ice
Festival for several years. Their participation
includes setting up informative displays on
the ice, where they showcase humane animal
traps and examples of historic trapping
equipment. This initiative provides festivalgoers with valuable insights into the trapping
industry, emphasizing the importance of
humane practices and the journey of furs
from start to finish.
