We love parties and special occasions. Our pubs were made for them.
Whether you and your crew want to pile into the bar or book a private space,
you can be certain our hosting will make the event go with a bang. At this time of
year, we look forward to Easter and those longer nights. But there’s also a string
of summertime birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, hen and stag parties,
engagements and weddings. So, whatever celebration-worthy event you have on
the cards, come down, and we’ll be sure to do your gang proud.
Private party places
Loads of our pubs have proper private rooms you
can cordon off and call your very own VIP enclave.
Some have snugs, parlours and libraries that make
great nooks for intimate get-togethers. A handful
have dedicated event rooms that feel like royal
banqueting halls. Others have semi-private rooms
that give you the space you need but are still in the
buzz of the pub. A few have conservatories that give
you a summery vibe, come rain or shine. And we
have some pub gardens with heated outdoor huts
you can hire and call home. So, whether it’s a family
meal or a full-blown knees-up for a hundred plus, we
have a make-it-special space with your name on it.
We’re happy hosts
You’ve sorted the space, so let’s focus on food
and facilities. Catering is our comfort zone, and
our kitchens are ready to serve up anything from
taste-bud-tickling canapé boards and party platters
to private dining. You can choose from menus
crafted by our chefs or go bespoke. Either way,
we’ll always consider everyone’s tastes and foodie
foibles. Did we nearly forget drinks?
Not likely. Whether it’s pints, 昀椀ne wines or
a Champagne reception, we’ll pour until you say
when. Some party rooms even include a fully
stocked private bar. Now, let’s talk tech. If you
need AV, rest assured many pubs have spaces
with personal music systems, big screens, Wi-Fi,
and microphones (for those big announcements
or weepy wedding speeches). And, last but not
least, if you need a place to lay your happy head,
we have right-there comfy beds for the sleep, and
mighty breakfasts to power the morning after the
night before.
