PRE-CONCERT TALK
On the night of classical concerts, Pre-Concert
Talks will take place from the front of the Appell
Center’s Strand Theatre stage at 6:30-7PM.
Admission is free for all ticket holders. Assistant
Conductor Rebekah O’Brien will take you on an
enlightening journey of the forthcoming concert.

INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO
A chance for children to learn and play the
instruments of the orchestra with the help of a
professional musician. This is a great introductory
experience that is included before some concerts
and may be expanded to other venues. Hosted by
our friends at the Youth Symphony Orchestra.
OPEN DRESS REHEARSAL
Families, students, and community members
are invited to attend Classical Concert Dress
Rehearsals where they have an opportunity to
get a first hand look at the concert preparation
process.
GUEST ARTIST MASTER CLASS
Come watch the YSO’s world-renowned guest
artists directly teach their skills to some of York’s
brightest and most talented young student
musicians. Admission is free for all attendees.
