Who should use this guide?
Important to Know:
In Young Life there are several different categories of Volunteers
with different access levels to YL Connect systems and tools:
o Volunteer in an Area with YL staff

Volunteer can be granted access to Webconnex to utilize the
features in this Learning Guide.
Please coordinate with your Area Staff person as they will be able
to utilize all the features available in the Staff Learning Guide.
o Volunteer Area Director (based on job code)

If they have YL Connect access, please use the Staff Learning Guide.
If they do not have YL Connect access, then continue to use this
Learning Guide.
o Volunteer-led Area (No staff in Area)

Please continue to use this Learning Guide.
You may see references to YL Connect Camp Home or YL
Connect Core in this Learning Guide. At this time, these are staffonly resources used by Young Life as a centralized database and
relationship manager. We have left some of these references in the
Learning Guide as a reminder that the actions and tasks that you
take in WCX may impact that data.
