Acknowledgement of Country
The Youth Disability Advocacy Network
acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the
country on which we are located, the Whajuk people
of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects to
Elders past and present. We acknowledge that
sovereignty was never ceded; this always was and
always will be Aboriginal land.
We would also like to acknowledge the
intersectionality and additional societal barriers faced
by disabled Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
people in this country.
