A
Accessible (in reference to disability): when the needs
of people with disability are considered in all parts of
products, services, and facilities.
Accommodations: changes that provide equal access
by removing barriers that are stopping someone from
doing something.
Advocacy: actions that support or defend rights and
wellbeing on behalf of others or for oneself.
Advocate: a person that practises advocacy.

Barriers: a situation or obstacle that stops actions or
things from happening.
Body Apraxia: when the brain is telling the body to do
something, but the body doesn’t do what it is saying.
Even if the person with body apraxia has all the muscles
to do it and knows what they want their body to do.
