When you are at school, TAFE, or university, you
should not be discriminated against because of your
disability.
Places of education must make accommodations,
such as:
Giving you information in a way that you can
understand
Changing the learning environment to make it
easier for you to use and learn
Giving you tools to help you learn
Giving you extra time for assignments and tests
It is illegal for places of education to:
Charge you extra money due to your disability
Stop you studying there or leave you out of
activities.
