Using government services
You cannot be discriminated against because of your
disability by the Australian Government.
You must have access to:
Government offices
Courts
Voting places and voting information
Places where government programs are run, like
Centrelink
Information about laws and government programs
Using services & buying things
It is against the law for someone to discriminate against
you when you are using services like going to the doctor,
to the movies, to sports games, or shops and banks.
They cannot:
Stop you from buying something because you are
disabled
Serve you later than other people for no reason
Ask you to pay extra money for things
