ACC ELERATING B IB LE TRANSLATION
Wycliffe USA continues to see an unprecedented outpouring of the
Holy Spirit in the Bible translation movement, with local churches
participating and taking ownership of Scripture translations in
their languages and communities. As Wycliffe USA aligns our
practices in collaboration and partnership with local churches
and organizations, we are funding an unprecedented amount of
language engagements — over 2,000 in fiscal year (FY) 2024.

V I S I ON 2025 PROGRESS
Approximately 25 years ago, Wycliffe USA adopted a vision of
starting a Bible translation project in every language by the end of
2025. At the end of FY2024, the number of remaining language
starts has dropped to under 1,000! While it will take a movement
of God to achieve this vision, we continue to work diligently to
ensure every language is engaged with a translation. As we look to
the future beyond 2025, Wycliffe desires for every person to have
access to the full counsel of God’s Word. After every language has
been started, there is still a significant amount of work remaining to
accomplish that goal.
