Meet Moise
Kevin Moise Leandro was born in 2021 and joined WWO
Haiti’s Learning Space when he was six months old.
After our staff evaluated him, they determined that
he was behind in his development. With help
from the WWO Element of Play® program, he
quickly started to respond to songs, join in the
activities, and respond to simple commands.
Soon, he was walking alone and searching for
his favorite toys. Within months Moise could
speak 15 words and respond appropriately to
questions. Unfortunately,
due to an accident,
Moise needed to
stay at home for 3
months, he fell behind in
his development, lost interest in play and did not
want to interact with other children. However,
with the attention and care of the WWO team, he
was soon smiling again, he regained is confidence
and again began participating in all of the learning
space activities. In his most recent evaluation,
Moise, is right on track!
