Message from the
Chief Diversity Officer
At Wiley, we believe celebrating our diverse backgrounds affords
us the ability to create a collaborative culture where all our team
members can thrive. Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core
pillars of our firm. All forms of diversity – including race, ethnicity,
gender, ability, sexual orientation, lived experiences, and perspectives – require us to be intentional to support our DEI efforts.
Each member of the Wiley team has traveled a unique road, and
we applaud those differences and achievements. This approach
has brought about some successful results.
As of December 31, 2023, 33% of partners and of counsel promotions were women, and 100% of our 2023 fall associate class are
women, racially or ethnically diverse, or members of the LGBTQIA+
community. Firmwide, over 44% of partners are women, racially
or ethnically diverse, or members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
We also engaged with our clients in exploring tangible opportunities to facilitate a culture of belonging and inclusion. Our
investments in sustaining an inclusive work environment enable
us to deliver best-in-class legal services. By amplifying the voices
and perspectives that reflect the rich diversity of our communities, we are blazing a path for the next generation of leaders in
the legal profession.
