And why is it important?
If recent times and challenges have taught us anything, it is that when we
work together, we can achieve true change and make a real difference.
The outstanding examples of cooperation and teamwork throughout the
pandemic have proven that we have the capability to overcome
any adversities, together.
It’s why we believe now is the perfect time to challenge past norms
and do things in a more sustainable way than ever before. It is not just
something we expect from ourselves, but it is what we need to do to
ensure our Coop lasts for the next one hundred years and beyond.
Our task now is to do things in a more sustainable way to leave a better
future for the generations to come. The way in which we respond to
this challenge will define how we will be remembered. We, as a local
organisation, have the potential to be at the forefront of change in the
Channel Islands.
Being deeply connected to our community has always been part of our DNA
and this strategy is our opportunity to demonstrate our values and strengths as a
Coop to bring about change. Because understanding ourselves and what it means
to belong will give direction to our future.
For above all, to us at your Channel Islands Coop,
,
