myself she wasn’t alive. I removed her
plastic
casing
and
followed
the
instructions. I pressed buttons and said
simple commands, downloaded pictures of
the kids and their favourite things onto her
hard drive. I dressed her and made her
look like a real Nanny before leaving her
for the night.
I woke up to the smell of bacon. I walked
into the kitchen to find The Nanny flipping
pancakes.
Soon the kids were downstairs too, they
cautiously sat beside me staring at the
strange woman assembling their plates.
She turned and handed the plates to the
kids.
