Now in its fourth iteration, WPL9s Teen
Writing Contest is something we look
forward to every year. Participation
continues to grow year after year, which
truly highlights the importance of youth
expression in our community. It never
ceases to amaze us how much creative
talent there is right here in the Region,
and it is always a diïcult task to choose
the winners among the plethora of
amazing original works of poetry and
short stories submitted.
Every teen who shared their talent with
us deserves a major thank you. Your
creativity, passion, and dedication to
the craft of writing are inspiring. It takes
courage and efort to share your work,
and we are grateful for the opportunity to
read and celebrate your unique voices.
Congratulations again to all of this year9s
winners!
We must also give a huge shout-out to
our Teen Events Team 3 without whom
our teen programs and events would
not be possible 3 and, of course, our
dedicated staf coordinators, Claire
MacFarlane and Ikhlas Hussain.
