BLACK HAIR
I have black curly hair.
It9s a burnt marshmallow (lots of people say).
It9s as soft as clouds and curly as sheep9s wool.
My hair oghts me while being styled, making me stressed.
How about y9all give it a rest!
Four years ago my hair got a lot of attention
and it was putting a mountain of tension
in my head.
I wanna shred this page from the book of my life.
As the hurtful memories fade away
my black curly hair will stay.
From the people who want to touch it
To the ones who stick pencils in it.
I feel pain that I gain from each vein when I get hurt
and I don9t want to blurt it out.
I just want to come back to myself, that9s all.
I have black curly hair and
I love it.
