Jumping
Up
And down
Over and over again
Reaching higher and higher
For the sky and the clouds above
Eager to escape the confines of the ground
Landing again and again
For a short break every so often
Relieved to feel the familiar ground once more
The wind carries us aloft
Cheering us on with playful nudges
Telling us to venture into its domain of freedom
The gravity pulls us down
Advising us to consider our safety
Warning us of the dangers that lie beyond
Two invisible forces
Calling out to us
As we jump
Up
And down
Over and over again
