Dry 昀椀t the back of the metal frame, with the vent cover in the frame, into

additional support behind drywall.
4. Keep the vent cover in the frame during installation to ensure it’s square
and ensure the metal frame is sitting 昀氀at and 昀氀ush to the drywall.
5. Secure the frame using 1¼” 昀椀ne-threaded drywall screws.
6. Space screws 6 to 8 inches apart, fastening through the frame holes into
the drywall and wood backing/stud.
7. After securing the frame, remove the vent cover insert. Tape, mud, sand
and repeat until you have the desired effect and the frame is concealed.
8. Paint vent cover to your desired colour or wall paper.
