This event is “pay as you can”, with all
proceeds going to support the recovery of
the Savoy Theater. Will the flood that
caused so much damage in Vermont in July
happen again, and what can be done to
mitigate the danger? This special festival
event will present a short video from
Vermont Public depicting the damage of
the flood in the Montpelier area and its
impact on residents and business owners,
followed by a panel of conservation experts
from The Nature Conservancy, exploring
what we can do to prevent it in the future.
The Panel will be moderated by Eve
Frankel, State Director at the Nature
Conservancy VT and with Lauren Oates,
Director of Policy and Governmental Affairs,
and others.
Top chefs from Québec and Vermont will prepare special dishes inspired by the films.
The eight guest-chefs will creatively draw from these films to develop a unique tasting
menu that will further broaden your cinematic experience. A round table with the
chefs is scheduled after each film.
