Great Yarmouth is a
traditional market town
with a permanent market
in the town that received a
£4.7m investment.
A covered market houses 26 main stalls
of di昀昀erent sizes, as well as two kiosks
and spaces for pop-up traders, with extra
stalls on market day on Wednesdays
and Saturdays.
Gorleston-on-Sea’s bustling and busy
high street is proud of its host of
independent retailers.
Between Gorleston and Great Yarmouth you
will 昀椀nd larger stores and supermarkets and
a retail part at Gapton Hall, which boasts TK
Maxx, The Range, Boots, M&S Food Hall and
café and Next.
There are more shops in the villages of
Caister-On-Sea and Hemsby, just a stone’s
throw from the holiday parks.
The famous pedestrianised shopping
experience in Regent Road is just o昀昀 the
seafront and an enticing area for anyone
looking for gifts and novelty 昀椀nds.
For fresh and homegrown produce, there
are plenty of greengrocers, butchers and
昀椀shmongers dotted around the borough.
There’s a huge range of shops with gifts and
souvenirs to clothes and other merchandise.
Supermarkets such as Asda, Tesco,
Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl are also
within easy reach.
It’s also home to Docwra’s Rock Factory
and a selection of cafes and restaurant.
