On the border between Louisiana and the Lone Star State, Southeast

From the economy to the culture, it’s the best of both worlds in our
little corner of the world. Southeast Texas is where the Texas oil
boom began. It’s here that Janis Joplin belted out her first tune. And
it’s here-where football is king-that Coach Jimmy Johnson suited up
for the very first time. You can try Cajun cuisine, take a hike, go back
in time at one of the historic homes, or pose with the colorful murals.
The five communities that make up the Golden Triangle - Beaumont,
Groves, Nederland, Port Arthur, and Port Neches - each have their
own energy, quirky charm, and a place in history books. Together,
their storied legacy and landscapes create a region that’s rich
in resources, history, nature, culture, and community. So, get to
