Contract DetailsUnder normal circumstances ViennaInternational School will offer you a three-yearinitial contract. This contract may be terminatedby either party by giving six months’ priorwritten notice at the end of the first academicyear.At the end of the agreed initial contract term,the contract will expire automatically, no priornotice will be required and renewal is notautomatic.However, as a matter of information and notin limitation of the automatic ending or othertermination rights, the School will tentativelyadvise the teacher by 15 November of the yearpreceding the expiration of an initial contractterm whether or not, and on what terms theSchool intends to renew the contract.12
