Ventana is proud to introduce Barry Masteller, whose impressive record includes
fifty-six solo exhibitions throughout the country, even more group shows, and
works represented in the permanent collections of more than forty-five museums
and institutions. In color-rich, figurative abstracts Masteller examines the magical,
dreamlike aspects of the subconscious self. The power and excitement he finds in
the fluid and solid qualities of his medium come compellingly through in his
