Food halls are having a glorious
moment in Las Vegas. These dining and
gathering spots are popping up
everywhere and offer a variety of
cuisines, making them perfect for large
groups with varied appetites. Enter
The Canteen at Rio Hotel and
Casino, an open, airy space with
bustling train station vibes featuring
six distinct flavor destinations perfect
for a casual hang or a quick bite before
a show.
At Tender Crush, Big Apple flavors
inform the robust selection of crispy,
tender chicken strips with preparations
inspired by Gotham boroughs. Don’t
pass on the boozy Coney Island Coolers
like Orange Crush Vodka topped with
vanilla custard.
Attaboy Burger accepts the
comfort food challenge with smash
burgers topped with grilled onions,
melty cheese, and secret sauce. Add a
root beer float and an order of onion
rings for extra feels.
From Philly, Tony Luke’s serves up
cheesesteak hoagies piled high with
100 percent USDA rib-eye steak, grilled
onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
Other options include Southland
Burrito and Nama Nama Sushi, with
made-to-order handrolls and nitro
matcha green tea on tap. At Shogun
Ramen find ample sized bowls of slurpworthy noodles.
The Canteen is open daily 11 a.m. to
10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and
Saturdays. riolasvegas.com —SA Lien
