Life-Saving Rules:
In order to ensure full compliance with our safety
rules and procedures, Valero implemented
Life-Saving Rules – seven, long-standing critical
rules that must be followed at all times. Any
violation of a Life-Saving Rule will result in the
most serious levels of discipline. By undergoing
comprehensive training, realistic field exercises
and adhering to these critical rules in day-today operations, our employees and contractors
make Valero a place where we can all feel proud
and safe coming to work every day.
