Life-Saving Rules
In order to ensure full compliance with our safety
policies and procedures, Valero implemented LifeSaving Rules – seven, long-standing critical rules
that must be followed at all times. Any violation
of a Life-Saving Rule will result in the most serious
levels of discipline. By undergoing comprehensive
training, realistic 昀椀eld exercises and adhering to
these critical rules in day-to-day operations, our
employees and contractors make Valero a place
where we can all feel proud and safe coming to
work every day.

Employee Safety Training
In 2023, our re昀椀nery employees
