Phase II: Your New Employee’s University Orientation Day
During Day One, your new employee will be participating in the university-wide orientation. This
serves as a one-stop shop for all set-up activities such as I-9 verification, purchasing a parking or
transit pass, obtaining an USCard, and a networking opportunity for all new employees.

8:00 - 8:30am
Arrival
An orientation team member will be there to greet your new employee and
direct him/her to the Tutor Campus Center.
Welcome Center Breakfast
At the Welcome Center your new employees will have stations to
complete the following processes; I-9 verification paperwork, USCard,
Transportation, and Slack support. There will also be some benefits
materials to get your new employee prepared for later in the day.
Orientation Presentation
Your new employee will get to know other new employees through an
engagement activity, learn about the history and achievements of USC,
and get a high level overview of how the university operates and where to
go for support.

Campus Tour
As a student-centered institution, the campus tour will give your new
employee a look at campus life through the perspective of our students.
The tour also highlights various campus resources, academics, athletics, as
well as significant buildings and landmarks. Remind your employee to
wear comfortable shoes on Day One.
Break
Resource Fair
The Resource Fair is dedicated to providing your new employee with an
overview of the various resources he or she has access to as a USC
employee. There will be four main tables setup: Employee Wellness,
Campus Resources and Perks, Campus Safety, and Campus Involvement.

Wrap-up and overview of what to expect tomorrow.
