Reversing
Neuropathy
Is
a
Reality
The Washington Spine, Disc and Joint Center
can make it your reality
Dr. Stefan Getzik, a
seasoned chiropractor
with a decade of
experience, is excited to
share his journey with
you. Hailing from
Washington, PA, he
attended Trinity
Highschool before
pursuing his degree at
California University.
Driven by his passion for
chiropractic care, he then
embarked on a
transformative chapter at
Palmer College of
Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa, widely
recognized as the premier
institution in North
America for chiropractic
education.
Now settled in the
Canonsburg area with his
family, Dr. Getzik has
been happily married to
his wife, Julie, for 13
years. Together, they are
proud parents to two
daughters, Collins, and
Finley, as well as a son
named Deklan. He
embraces his enthusiasm
for chiropractic medicine
daily and shares his
expertise with the
community in a
professional, and caring
manner.
Dr. Getzik owns and
operates the Washington
Spine, Disc and Joint
Center located at 400
Jefferson Avenue in
Washington.
When asked why he
chose chiropractic as a
career, Getzik said, “I
decided to pursue a
chiropractic career
because my desire was to
assist others in pain
without having to take
powerful pain
medications with possible
addiction. Furthermore,
my personal experience
with chiropractic care
during my time as a
hockey player allowed
me to witness its
remarkable benefits,
ultimately leading me to
develop a deep fondness
for this profession.”
Dr. Getzik chose to
specialize in neuropathy
for multiple reasons, and
his enthusiasm for
helping his patience is
very evident. “I am
extremely passionate
about specializing in
reversing neuropathy,” he
said. “Witnessing the
reversal of neuropathy is
truly a source of joy for
me. We receive referrals
every day from
neurologists, podiatrists,
and primary care
physicians because our
clinic is renowned as the
top neuropathy clinic in
Washington County.”
Going against the norm
has always been Dr.
Getzik’s nature and he
has used this trait to
prove that his methods
and programs can help
patients who have felt
hopeless in finding a
means to heal. He is truly
inspired by helping
people to heal. “When
someone claims that
something cannot be
Washington Disc, Spine and Joint Center
achieved, I am
determined to find a way
and make it happen,” he
explained. “Every day,
individuals are told that
neuropathy symptoms
cannot be reversed.
However, at our clinic,
we prove them wrong on
a regular basis! With a
remarkable success rate
of 96%, we consistently
reverse neuropathy. In
comparison, the most
successful medication,
Nortriptyline prescribed
for neuropathy only
achieve a 25% success
rate while Duloxetine had
the second-highest
efficacious rate
of 23%, and
Pregbalin had
the lowest
efficacy rate at
15%.”
The
Washington
Spine, Disc and
Joint Center is a
full service and
diverse
operation.
Chiropractic
care is
accessible to
everyone, and
the company
accepts a wide
array of
insurance,
offering a range
of benefits for
the body. By
improving the
nervous system,
chiropractic
treatments can
enhance blood flow,
support heart health,
optimize lung function,
and promote better
digestion. Additionally,
chiropractic care
effectively addresses
various types of pain,
including headaches and
discomfort in the arms
and legs. “Most people
feel they only need to see
a chiropractor if they
don't have pain which is
entirely untrue,” Dr.
Getzik said. “If the
nervous system is not
working correctly then
everything mentioned
above won't work and
then health issues arise.
Not seeing a Chiropractor
is a lot like not getting
your oil changed in your
vehicle, if you don't
change the oil the vehicle
won't function properly.”
When it comes to
Neuropathy, individuals
experiencing symptoms
such as numbness,
tingling, weakness,
achiness, sensory loss,
burning sensations and
even people that are
experiencing trouble
walking and falls can find
relief through Dr.
Getzik’s services focused
on neuropathy care. “Our
practice welcomes
patients with neuropathy
caused by a wide range of
factors, including cancer,
chemotherapy, diabetes,
and trauma but
understand there are over
Dr. Stefan Getzik
100 different causes of
neuropathy and not
everyone is reversible,”
he said.
The Washington Spine,
Disc and Joint Center is a
breath of fresh air as
Washington County and
cities across the nation
have been plagued by the
use of opioid treatments,
often resulting in
addiction. Dr. Getzik
explained, “In the realm
of neuropathy, patients
can find solace in
avoiding the use of
ineffective and hazardous
medications. By doing so,
they eliminate the
potential perils of relying
on assistive devices such
as walkers or
wheelchairs, and the
prospect of limb loss
altogether. A viable
alternative lies in their
ability to counteract
neuropathy symptoms
through the restoration of
nerves via enhanced
blood flow and
oxygenation and our
treatments do exactly
that.”
Dr. Getzik has been
recognized nationally as a
top chiropractor in
neuropathy. “Yes, I was
awarded as a leading
doctor in neuropathy
field.” he explained
humbly. “This
recognition not
only highlights
my deep
passion for
assisting
individuals but
also affirms
that my efforts
have a positive
impact.
Patients from
various states
including
Georgia,
Florida,
Virginia, Ohio,
Maryland,
West Virginia,
and
Pennsylvania
seek my
expertise and
come to our
office in
Pennsylvania,
further
demonstrating
the
effectiveness
of my methods
and highlights the
effectiveness of my
practice in providing
relief and support for
neuropathy.”
In an exciting
development, the
Washington Spine, Disc
and Joint Center has
recently relocated to its
spacious and modern
4,000 square foot facility
in Washington, PA. This
new location,
conveniently situated in
the same building as his
uncle and mentor, Chris
Vermilya who owns the
Medicine Shoppe, is set
to become a hub for
top-notch medical
assistance. Stay tuned
more developments.
With his practice serving
over 1,000 patients each
week, all seeking relief
for Neuropathy and
Chiropractic issues, Dr.
Getzik believes this move
is the ideal choice for
providing optimal care to
his patients.
In November 2023, Dr.
Getzik will be releasing a
comprehensive book on
Neuropathy that delves
into the latest treatment
options for effectively
reversing its effects. With
meticulous research, he
included all the essential
information and studies
that support these
innovative treatments.
This book aims to
empower individuals with
neuropathy to make
informed decisions and
take better care of their
condition. You will be
able to find copies of the
book at the Jefferson
