Built in 1904, the house was restored to
interpret the years between 1920 and 1945.
The house has original Chambers family
furniture and artifacts and tells an intriguing
story of this middle-class family. The Chambers
family lived in the house for 90 years.

The stately McFaddin-Ward House was built in 1906 in the BeauxArts Colonial style. The building and its furnishings reflect the
lifestyle of the prominent family who lived in the house for 75 years.

The John Jay French house, built in 1845, is one of the oldest
surviving houses in Beaumont. The historic pioneer settlement,
built by John Jay French, tanner and merchant, is filled with
antique furnishings and artifacts. Outbuildings include a
blacksmith shop and tannery.

The Pompeiian Villa, sometimes
called the “Billion Dollar
House,” was built in 1900 for
Isaac Ellwood, the “Barbed Wire
King.” The grandiose home is an
authentic replica of a Pompeiian
home of 79 A.D. and features
rooms built in traditional Roman
style with a three-sided courtyard.
