keeping an eye out for alligators and elusive
birds, or take a guided Swamp Tour through the
swamps and bayous of the Neches or Sabine
Rivers.

explore the serene beauty of the vibrant flora
at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens or Shangri
La Gardens . Tyrrell Park combines outdoor
adventure with family fun. Here you can ride
horses at the Tyrrell Park Horse Stables, test
your aim at the Archery Range, or explore
the wonders of the natural world at the
Tyrrell Park Nature Center. If you’re a birder,
don’t miss Cattail Marsh, McFaddin National
Wildlife Refuge, or Sabine Woods, all havens for
migratory birds.

Looking for a coastal escape? Sea Rim State
Park offers pristine beaches, perfect for
swimming, sunbathing, or fishing. Bolivar
Beach is another great option, and don’t miss
the chance to explore the unique ecosystem
of Pleasure Island or Sabine Lake. For a more
relaxing day at the beach, head to McFaddin
Beach for swimming and sunbathing.
Golf enthusiasts can tee off at one of the many
golf and disc golf in the area, while cyclists can
explore the scenic roadways with Beaucycles or
hit the numerous trails in the area’s many City
Parks and Dog Parks. Fishing enthusiasts can
book a Fishing Charter and test their skills in
the vibrant waters offshore.
