Dear Friends,
It is a privilege to send greetings to everyone participating in United
Hospital Fund's 2022 Fall Gala. I am especially pleased to congratulate
tonight's esteemed honorees, Robert S. Galvin, MD, Jennifer Mieres, MD,
Olajide Williams, MD, and Anthony Shih, MD. I would like to thank them
for all they do to improve the health of New Yorkers.
For 143 years, UHF has played an indispensable role in building a
more effective health care system for every New Yorker. I am grateful that
this organization pays special attention to our most vulnerable populations
and fights to ensure that every New Yorker has access to affordable, highquality, accessible care. I know New York is a healthier state because of
UHF's work to dismantle barriers to accessing fair health care. Please accept
my heartfelt gratitude for all you do on behalf of New Yorkers.
I hope you have a joyous celebration and much-continued success in the
future.
