It is iny pleasure to send greetings to everyone gathered for the United Hospital Fund
(UHF) Tribute to Excellence in Health Care.
Since its establishment in 1879, the United Hospital Fund has strengthened the health of
New York State's residents by advancing public policy and providing those in need with
exceptional and accessible treatment. By fostering innovations in care delivery as well as
collaboration with local communities, UHF builds a more equitable future for patients and
families while saving lives. UHF's expertise and leadership has proven indispensable to countless
individuals and will continue to do so in the future.
Today, you come together for your Tribute to Excellence in Health Care event, where
many distinguished professionals are honored for their commitment to both their respective
institutions and the future of patient wellness. I join in congratulating each of your award
recipients for their outstanding work. On behalf of all New Yorkers, I appreciate your assistance
in creating a healthier state.
