DAY 2 8 6
Faith to Believe
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew
stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that
God is able to do whatever he promises. ROMANS 4:20-21
Love Letter from God
Beloved Daughter,
I want you to have faith that believes even before you see what I’m going to
do. Moses had to believe that I would do miracles before he saw them. David
had to believe that I would make him a great king even when he was hiding
from his enemies in a cave. Joseph had to believe that I would rescue him
from the prison where he sat falsely accused and put him in a position of
authority. In a moment, I can change a life with a miracle. Don’t doubt your
Father in heaven. I am who I say I am, and I will do all that I have promised.
All you have to do is believe.
Love,
Your heavenly Father
Reflection
People say that seeing is believing. Our heavenly Father wants us to believe
first and then watch as He fulfills His promises. He wants us to put our faith
in Him—the Giver of the gift—so we don’t misplace our faith by putting it in
the gift. He loves when His children expect Him to do great things for them
because He is a great big God.
Treasure of Truth
When you choose to believe before you receive, there is joy even in the
waiting.
