probably got a variety of responses. here’s what the bible says about him:

Jesus means “the Lord saves” (see Matthew 1:21).

Among many other things, Jesus claimed to be the bread of life
(John 6:35), the light of the world (John 8:12), God in human form
(John 8:54-58), and the one and only way to God (John 14:6).

John said Jesus came to show us what God is like (John
1:18). Jesus himself said he came “to seek and save those
who are lost” (Luke 19:10). In another place Jesus said he
came to give his followers new life—a full and meaningful
life that never ends (John 10:10).
