“People who seem to have very different
backgrounds are very similar and you just
have to talk to a person to get to know them.”
“Basically, when you get to college, you are
basically teaching yourself. No one is really
teaching you. You really have to be all hands on
deck, especially in your hard core classes.”
“Avoid the quad as much as you can.”

“Getting a college degree that is academically
challenging does not guarantee you a job. ”
“Being a freshman, [I’ve learned] the unspoken
but spoken rules of the library. For instance, as
you go up, it gets quieter. So if you want to talk,
first and second floor. The third and fourth
floor, you should be quiet. I recommend that if
you are on the fourth floor, bring a blanket.”
“Tiger Stadium keeps their lights on all the
time because I hear that it takes more time to
shut them off and turn them back on, and it
might even be more expensive. ”
