MY JOURNEY WITH POETRY

I have always been a romantic person. From a young age, my
favorite things all had to do with fairytales and magic. I have
always loved stories; something in me knew I would be a writer.
It wasn’t until recently that I fell in love with poetry. My favorite
authors have been Shakespeare and Neil Gaiman for a long while,
but it wasn’t until last year when my class read “Bright Star” that
something changed. I fell in love with the Romanticism period
and poetic writing, which led me to regain my love for Hozier and
all kinds of writers. And then, one day, I felt like I needed to write
something. And I never stopped.
