Maybe the difference nowadays is that more and more
people are realizing that we’ve always been wrong. We are
all unsatisfied. Nobody is happy with the way things are now.
There are gloomy dooming vibes everywhere. Broader access
to information and being able to share it easily has empowered
us for sure. But it has also made us more aware of our failures.

The unity that I want is real love for the other. Real
understanding, real interest, real support, real empathy,
real freedom, real inclusivity, real justice, real kindness,
real brotherhood, real sisterhood, real peace, real hope, real
equality, real life, real liberty, real happiness. The realization that
we are equals and that our survival on this planet depends on
us being together. We need real transformation in our societies

We need global dreams. For all of us. And no one else will
defend our dreams but ourselves. Do NOT rely on anyone else.
The only way for art to contribute on any level for social change
is by going public. Artists need to broaden their audience. The
traditional art world environment is very elitist, exclusivist, and
often detached from social contexts. It’s also a contrived space
where there are implicit behavioral rules. There is always an
inherent “classism”. Maybe the artist’s role in this fight for unity
