Troubleshooting Guide
FIREPLACES
General Information: Cabins are equipped with indoor and some have outdoor
fireplaces for your enjoyment. To light the fireplace, turn the knob to the
right/press the timer button and set it to the desired time or press the 'ON'
button. Gas Fireplaces are seasonal from October 1-March 31. Before the
guest arrives, every fireplace is checked by maintenance to ensure the pilot
light is on and the fireplace works correctly. The QR code located on the
refrigerator welcome letter will show you how to turn on the cabin fireplace
and how to relight a pilot.
Troubleshooting:
FOR GAS FIREPLACES: First check other gas items (stove and hot water) to
make sure it is not a general gas issue. If not, the primary reason the fireplace
may not be working is that the pilot light has gone out. Please watch the video
QR code located on the refrigerator welcome letter to relight the pilot light.
