The microcredential in Business Leadership will enable learners to demonstrate competency in various
aspects of business that are essential to successful leadership including marketing, management,
entrepreneurship, accounting, and communications. This microcredential offers 昀氀exibility in course options,
allowing students to customize course selection to their individual goals.
Students who complete the Business Leadership microcredential earn nine to ten college credit hours that
may later be transferred to one of Jefferson’s certi昀椀cate or degree programs.
Courses Required to Earn This Microcredential
Introduction to Business (BUS 112) – 3 credits – Mandatory
And choose 2 of the following:
Marketing (BUS 124) – 3 credits
Accounting Principles (ACC 101) – 4 credits
Intro to Entrepreneurship (BUS 150) – 3 credits
Public Speaking (STA 151) – 3 credits
Many classes are available online, however, depending on course schedules, some in-person elements may be required.
