SENCAP Coordinators
SENCAP Coordinators are your point of contact for the dual credit
journey. They regularly serve and visit all high schools and programs in
SCC’s 15-county region.

SENCAP Coordinators meet with students to provide ongoing,
individualized support designed to help students successfully transition
to their next step after graduation.
SENCAP Coordinators will
• assist with the SENCAP application
• facilitate registering for classes
• assist in advising of courses in which to enroll
• support with applying for graduation for SCC certificates and diplomas
• assist with orienting students to SCC online resources, including SelfServices (online drop/add), The Hub, CANVAS, etc.
• collaborate and communicate with high school faculty, counselors
and administration to increase dual enrollment and the number of
students who transition to SCC.
• accompany students to Discovery Days & Career Days
• support student efforts to make certain the college course
requirements and dual-credit requirements are met
• facilitate career education opportunities and transitional education
support for students from high school to college/coursework
• assist students/high school personnel with weekly grade updates to
support students’ success in SENCAP courses
• provide interpretation support of placement and career assessments
to assist students in identifying career interests, goals, academic
preparedness, skills, and talents
FACULTY Liason
The SENCAP Faculty Liason will
• assist with onboarding, professional development of SENCAP
instructors
• support instructors for submitting rosters, midterm and final grades
