SA 2022 Annual Report Spreads Final (3) - Flipbook - Page 3
Dear Friend of The Salvation Army,
It has never been more true that for thousands of
vulnerable men, women and children throughout
central Ohio, need knows no season.
1
Hardworking families in our community are facing
critical situations 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Even though they are working multiple jobs, they are
struggling to put food on the table, keep the lights on
or provide essential care for themselves or for their
children. Many, including seniors and veterans, are
finding the need to ask for assistance for the first time
to meet basic needs, falling into varying degrees of
‘pandemic poverty’.
We are pleased to share the enclosed 2021-22 annual
report for The Salvation Army in Central Ohio to
communicate the many ways our teams of dedicated
staff work diligently every month of the year to address
the tremendous needs of so many in our community.
We hope you will spend a few minutes to peruse the
following pages that provide a snapshot of our agency’s
financial information and the programs and services
that are made possible because of the generosity of
donors, advocates and supporters like you.
You can be confident that we are committed to
being a good steward of your gifts as we continue
to provide compassionate service during a period of
unprecedented economic challenges. In central Ohio,
89 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to
programs and services for those who need them
the most. With your faithful support and generosity,
The Salvation Army in Central Ohio will be able to
continue its year-round life-changing efforts.
Because, for so many, need knows no season.
To stay informed throughout the year, we encourage
you to visit us at www.SalvationArmyCentralOhio.org.
