In addition to two Wilkinson® Alnico V single coils in
the neck and middle position for time-honoured tones,
the V6HBB employs a double coil pickup in the bridge
for increased output and hum-cancelling capabilities.
Check that left hand neck on a right hand body,
for starters... Not only that, even though it’s a
right hand body, closer inspection reveals that the
full-toned, matched and calibrated set of Wilkinson
staggered pole, alnico-powered single coil pickups
are a left hand set, meaning that the polepiece sequence
is also inverted, providing a unique tonality redolent
of one of the most legendary guitarists ever...
The Vintage V624FRBK is a metalhead's dream.
