DAY 1 ARRIVE BOSTON – TOUR BEGINS
New England’s spectacular fall foliage is legendary! Steepled churches and whitewashed villages
nestle among rolling hills painted in red and gold leaves. Farmhouses sit amidst fields of ripening
pumpkins, and orchards of shiny red apples await pressing into cider. Share the anticipation with
your traveling companions and your Tour Manager at tonight’s Welcome Meeting in Boston.
DAY 2 BOSTON – LOWELL – MANCHESTER
Your journey begins as we visit the New England Quilt Museum, whose collection includes the
region’s finest quilts. Later, we continue into New Hampshire’s rolling countryside where a seasonal
lunch flavored with herbs grown just outside the door awaits us at Pickity Place, a 200-year-old shingled
cottage. Afterward, stroll through the gardens dedicated to fragrance, flavor and witches’ herbs. B L
