Access to infant carrying is a health equity issue:
carrying promotes bonding, increases lactation, and
supports general postpartum and infant wellness
We provide training on how to incorporate carrying education into
birthwork and perinatal care practices, centered in carrying as a
cultural practice and human rights issue.
We trained 41 healthcare
providers and birthworkers
“It was a great combination of research/
evidence-based content within a cultural
and historic context AND with hands-on
application if desired.“
