DUPLEX SYSTEMS - PARALLEL FLOW
Filters typically work best with lower flow rates through the filter media in the tank. For this reason,
multiplexing DROP filters will place all of the parallel tanks in service. When it is time to backwash
(based on the system regeneration time on the SYSTEM, SETTINGS page) the filters, the DROP Hub
will backwash one filter at a time. Similar to a softener system, when it is regenerating the tank is
not available to provide service water to the system, and thus the system capacity will be reduced
during the regeneration cycle by one tank unit. It should also be noted that the unit regenerating will
use treated water from the other tanks that are in service to regenerate. After each unit completes its
backwash cycle, the Hub will cause the next unit to backwash until all paralleled filters have finished.
Includes two DROP integrated electronic filters each with a motorized bypass valve, black polyglass

The Sidekick™ Single Tank Aeration System injects air into the top of the tank converting ferrous iron
to ferric iron after untreated water has passed through the control valve preventing the control valve
from fouling with iron. The top cap fill opening allows for ease of service.
The Sidekick Filter requires the function of the DROP Hub. The hub is the connection to everything on
the DROP Smart Water Management system. It integrates all of your DROP residential water devices
together.
Systems include the DROP electronic meter filter control valve featuring fully adjustable cycles, bypass valve, black polyglass mineral tanks and riser.
