Enpress Mid-Vortech® Mineral Tanks
This residential vessel features an exclusive internal mid plate distributor, which offers significant
advantages over standard tanks…from the physical separation of multiple medias, to use
in redundant filtration applications, to the elimination of a valve and tank in applications that require
multiple media tanks and systems, reducing plumbing and packaging requirements…all in one tank!
The Mid-Vortech® design allows for filling and extraction of medias in all chambers and the use of
vacuum to either fill or remove the medias at the OEM, Dealer or Homeowner locations. All MidVortech® tanks come with ENPRESS’ exclusive Bottom Vortech® tank feature, which eliminates gravel
under-bedding and allows for reduction of backwash rates up to 30%.

Vacuum Breakers
All systems with fiberglass or polyglass composite tanks require installation of a vacuum breaker at
the highest point in the drain line to prevent tank damage due to the possible collapse of a tank when
exposed to a vacuum.
