Pro Res Care
Pro Res Care will chemically clean a fouled resin bed of a water softener and restore the exchange
capacity of the resin. Most types of water softening resins can become fouled with iron and other
contaminants that will affect the performance of the ion exchange system. Iron fouling can cause
channeling, pressure drop, loss of capacity, hardness and iron leakage. Regular use of Pro Res Care
will minimize fouling and extend the resin life in the water softener.

Pro Poly Guard Scale & Rust Preventer is specifically formulated to prevent hard water stains,
including scale and iron staining in commercial, industrial and residential potable water applications.
Poly Guard forms a protective coating on metal and plastic surfaces preventing hard water stains,
scale, corrosion and copper leaching. To eliminate hard water stains, inject Poly Guard by chemical
feed pump into the raw water system as close to the source as possible. This product is NSF Certified
to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for drinking water additives.
