THE AD APARTMENT
DESIGNED BY Sasha Bikoff Interior Design
This year, our iconic AD Apartment is designed by one of
AD’s New Creatives, interior designer Sasha Bikoff, who
reimagined the space in her signature whimsical world.
“I wanted to create a space that embodied an ‘uptown girl
living in a downtown world’ spirit,” says the 31-year-old
New Yorker. “It represents the dichotomy between a woman
who loves antiques and appreciates the finer things yet is still
edgy and modern.”
Bikoff’s colorful style and unlikely design pairings are the
threads tying this apartment together. Her remarkable lineup
of brands and products breaks design rules and inspires a
lavish-yet-eclectic lifestyle.
Highlights include a host of cutting-edge appliances and
accessories, as well as visionary decor and furniture meant to
spark every sense. In the kitchen, find the latest hand-crafted,
handle-less appliances from Gaggenau, state-of-the-art
surfaces from Dekton by Cosentino, and Art Deco-inspired
cabinetry by Danish design company Reform. Throughout
the apartment, you’ll see contemporary furnishings by
Calligaris, an eco-friendly faucet by Brizo®, brass-and-crystal
hardware by Emtek, nature-inspired wallcoverings by
Mayflower Wallpaper, mattress, pillows, and bedding
by Tuft & Needle, tabletop accessories by Lenox, a suite of
high-tech home products by Dyson, a brass-plated ball chain
curtain by ShimmerScreen®, hardwood flooring by Lumber
Liquidators, custom cornice and bed canopy by Supreme
Furniture Services, and original illustrations of the space by
Carly Martin of Clementine Studio.
