SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2023
THE PATHWAY TO
REDUCING OUR EMISSIONS
For the past few years Micro Matic group worked towards building the internal capacity across the organisation
and to integrate environmental focus areas into “business as usual”. Because of that we looked for the potential
projects, which lower our CO2e emissions and reduce our impact on the environment throughout our entire supply
chain. Out of 36 proposed CO2e reduction projects, we’ve put 27 into action.

2. GREENING OUR
TRANSPORTATION
Making our business travel,
commuting and transport of
products as climate-friendly as
possible
By hiring a Supplier quality engineer specialist, MMCN were
able to eliminate unnecessary
shipping (10000km per load)
MMDK reduced energy need
from central heating by
approx. 40%
MM Nordic worked with customers to reduce back orders.
With building expansion MM
Nordic is replacing gas heating
to renewable – geothermal
heating
Some operations were relocated to MMLT to avoid unnecessary transportation MMLTMMDK-MMLT
Started development of supplier
engagement program to target
suppliers that represents our
largest emissions.
Currently 8 suppliers has been
contacted with 5 already providing data and all starting their
sustainability journey.
Increasing the refurbishment

building renovation will be over
CO2 calculation included in
innovation processes allowing
to estimate the impact of new
projects.
Collaborating with PT department on new line design process. That will help to identify
potential changes in operations
and accurately estimate potential impact.
This showcases our commitment to turning plans into action. These efforts are expected to cut a near 5000 metric
tons of CO2e emissions across different areas.
Our strategic collaboration with top suppliers has provided CO2e data on purchased items such as clari昀椀cation
on materials, weights and CO2e emissions per item. That contributed our data on the supply chain more mature.
Additionally, we are starting to integrate CO2e calculations into new product design, while a primary emission
estimation tool is under development, providing us with invaluable insights for decision-making.
Looking ahead, we’re committed to doing more for the environment. Small steps add up to big changes. By working
closely with our suppliers and making eco-friendly choices in product design, we’re building a more sustainable
future.
