How long does coverage last? Unless otherwise specified, the Warranty
Period is defined from the date of sale as follows;
Five (5) years – RSV stainless steel Container Valves
Standard Lead Times Please contact Micro Matic customer service
for standard lead-times. Micro Matic is a build to order manufacturer, but
may have finished product in stock to ship within 24-48 hours of receipt
of order. Authorized distributors may also have finished product available
to be shipped with short lead-times. Depending on quarterly and annual
consumption needs, Micro Matic offers special blanket order contract
stocking and pricing agreements when customer demand requires special
lead-times and quantities exceeding our highest quantity price breaks.
If these special contractual services are required, please contact Micro
Matic to learn if your program qualifies for special stocking, pricing, and
lead-time terms.
Three (3) years – RSV/RPV stainless steel Dispense Couplers
One (1) year – RSV/RPV stainless steel Fill Couplers, RPV Container
Valves, Composite Dispense Couplers, EPV stainless steel Dispense
Couplers and all other associated products.
6 Months (6) – The EPV Container Valve and Down Tube are warrantied
for single use or six months from the date of sale. This limited warranty is
in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including design, course
of design, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Micro Matic
USA, Inc. shall not be liable for loss of use, loss of revenue or profit, or
injury, or any other consequential or incidental damages.
Receiving Merchandise: UPS Inspect your shipment when it is delivered.
If your package has arrived damaged, or otherwise tampered with, notify your
UPS delivery person immediately. Customers are responsible for checking
their order when it arrives to ensure that all items are present. If there are
any discrepancies, please notify us immediately, within seven (7) days. If not,
Micro Matic is not responsible for missing items.
How do I make a Warranty claim?
If any defect is discovered in the product during the Warranty Period, the
purchaser must notify the Micro Matic customer service department and
file a claim. Micro Matic will be the sole determiner of whether or not the
product will be returned for further analysis of the warranty claim. No
product can be returned without a return authorization number. Purchaser
must follow instructions provided. Micro Matic will have no responsibility to
honor claims received after the date the applicable Warranty Period expires.
Receiving Merchandise: Freight Carrier
Upon delivery, it is extremely important to carefully unpack and inspect
the contents thoroughly for any indication of damage before signing
the carrier’s freight bill of lading. The driver is required to wait during
the inspection. If damage is found, the shipment should be refused; the
driver is required to take the shipment back. If the outside packaging is
damaged, but the contents are not, you should accept the shipment, but
make a note on the freight bill the outside packaging was damaged.
This will protect your rights in the event there is concealed damage.
By signing the carrier’s freight bill, without any notations of damage, you
are agreeing the shipment was delivered in good condition. Any damage
found after that point, should be directed to the freight carrier in the
form of a concealed damage claim. Micro Matic has no recourse to file
a freight damage claim once the shipment was signed for as received in
good condition. The responsibility of the shipment by Micro Matic will
cease upon acceptance of the shipment.
Return Policy Authorization is required for any merchandise return.
Contact Micro Matic for a return authorization number; describe the items
being returned and the reason. All returned items must be shipped within
fifteen (15) days of receipt. Items must be unused and in original condition
including the original packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals,
and accessories. All orders filled correctly are subject to a minimum 20%
handling and restocking charge ($10.00 minimum charge).
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges unless the cause
for the return is a Micro Matic error. FREIGHT MUST BE PREPAID ON
ALL RETURNED PARTS. Insure all returned packages; Micro Matic is not
responsible for returned shipments that are lost, pilfered, or damaged.
What does this warranty cover? Micro Matic USA, Inc.
(“Micro Matic”) warrants that its products will be free from defects in
material and workmanship, under normal use and regular service, for the
Warranty Period (defined below).
