Meet the
Resident Advisory Board
Our B.I.G. strategic plan has signi昀椀cant implications on our team members and
residents. In a conscious effort to engage the Messiah Lifeways community in these
important organization-wide initiatives, the launch of this strategic plan has had a high
element of community visibility, as highlighted in this report.
To foster engagement, a Resident Advisory Committee was formed from a number
of willing volunteers in early 2022. The members of this committee, working with the
Executive Team, are a sounding board for ideas and have provided valuable input
and counsel as the organization balances the perspective of current residents with
the needs of future residents. The committee offered especially helpful feedback and
suggestions relating to Bailey Street Apartments and the potential af昀椀liation, which
leadership thoughtfully considered in their strategies and decision making.
